Byron Van Buren Appalachian Trail Thru-Hike 2017

There is a saying that "all those who wander are not lost." Well, in my case, if I were to be honest (and sometimes I am) the saying might be "some of those who wander enjoy getting lost." Hence, though I've rarely hiked more than a few miles or slept in a tent more than a handful of times, I thought I might enjoy getting lost with the thousands who have hiked the Appalachian Trail since 1948. And perhaps, you too, might enjoy getting lost with me too.
